TTVM/G® - Torini Thermo-Volumetric Motor/Generator

TTVM/G® is a waste heat recovery type generator which offers the ability to convert waste heat into electric energy or mechanical power to operate desalination process like reverse osmosis to produce fresh water.

TTVM/G® allows the production of efficient power from low, medium, and high temperature heat generated from renewable energy sources such as biomass combustion, solar and geothermal heat, or waste heat sources. Waste heat sources can be in the form of exhaust stack flue gas or waste heat from vented steam or steam discharged from steam turbines as well as hot water, hot oils or combined waste heat sources.

TTVM/G® is a very compact rotating volumetric machine, with multiple effect and low friction: except for the driving shaft, it has no inner gear nor drive systems, it has no sliding seal and can bear large amounts of condensing fluid. For this reason, it is a fairly simple and economic system to be realized.

Production of power from waste heat and renewable energy sources is the most viable path to energy independence from foreign oil and reduced emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels.

Regenerating electric power from waste heat leads to lower energy bills and reduce carbon emissions.
